Project Background
Caring Village is a mobile and web application that helps families share caregiving responsibilities for a sick loved one. Members create a network of online caregivers to help shoulder day-to-day responsibilities during their health journey. The app keeps everyone in the "village" informed of the care recipient’s wellbeing via status updates, wellness checks, appointments, and also offers to-do lists for members to volunteer for.
As the Creative Director and UX strategist on this project, I was responsible for leading design and UX solutions for iOS, Android, and web design, as well as managing the design and digital (marketing) strategy for the marketing website.
I managed the design team tasks, tested features using lean UX methodology and in-person user-testing, making iterative changes to layouts as-needed. I provided reports on user feedback regarding areas of improvement. I also provided digital marketing support, writing for the web, and shared weekly analytics information with the team while working to increase conversions and improve user engagement.
